Community Support Therapist
Location: Dane County
Position: Part-time (10-20hrs/week) or Full-time (37.5hrs/week)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30AM-4:30PM, NO WEEKENDS!
Compensation: $35-45/hr based on experience

Position Summary
The Community Support Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical therapy services to clients who are experiencing mental health, co-occurring conditions, and/or substance abuse recovery. Therapists work with clients to help them achieve their highest possible level of independence. Therapists will assist clients with improving function, stability, and facilitating recovery. Therapists will be required to conduct client assessments, care planning, and coordinate and facilitate services and support continuity of care upon discharge from the program. Services may be provided in the client's home, through telehealth, or at Community Living Alliance's office.

- Up to $3,000 bonus (Part-Time is prorated)
- $1,000 - Initial
- $1,000 – 90 days
- $1,000 – 180 days
- Must remain in good standing
Primary Duties:
- Provide ongoing counseling and support to assigned clients.
- Create and manage a treatment/assessment plan.
- Collaborate with client support teams to address unmet long term care needs.
- Utilize effective therapeutic strategies to engage program participants, enhance motivation, and encourage meaningful, collaborative, and strengths-based goal planning and progress.
- Provide conflict resolution/mediation, lifestyle coaching, support, and advocacy with individuals.
- Assistant client with identifying and establishing natural and professional supports in the community.
- May provide Substance Abuse Professional (SAP)/Mental Health Professional (MHP) Consultation services for Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) clients. May provide consultation and education to CLA team members and providers working with consumers.
Minimum Education/Experience and Requirements:
Required
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Master's Degree in Mental Health, Human Services, or related field
- Current license in the state of WI as a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- 2 years of related experience providing community based mental health services and knowledge of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities and other chronic conditions
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance to serve clients throughout Dane County
Preferred
- 2 years Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) experience
- Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) credential in Dane County WI
