What does a day in this role look like?
Community Living Alliance is looking to hire an experienced, friendly, and reliable caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care to an awesome gentleman in the comfort of his own home! If you are looking to provide quality care while working in a positive and friendly environment, this is the position for you! This position is in Madison, WI.

** If looking for more hours, there may be other clients available to work with based on availability, willingness to travel, etc **

About the Client:

  • Loves:
    • Brewers
    • Badgers
    • CNN/News/Today Show
    • Managed a bar in the past
    • Computers
    • Taxes (used to do for people)
    • To chat about all the above!


Schedule:

  • ​​​​​​Mondays for groceries
    • 1 hr/week
  • Every day (Sunday-Monday) 8am-9am (1hr/day)


Tasks:

  • Personal cares - Assist with getting dressed
  • Transfers from bed to wheelchair (Hoyer - double amputee)
  • Ability to lift client back into wheelchair for comfort
  • Completed required documentation of records of care

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Requirements
    • 18+ years of age
    • Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Valid auto insurance
    • Own reliable vehicle
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
